ABOUT EMILY

Hi. I'm Emily Crall. I am so glad you're here!

Let's start with my most important: I am happily married to [the handsomest, most caring, kindest, and funniest guy I've ever known] Kevin. He makes me laugh and keeps me grounded. We were married in 2009 in an intimate, springtime ceremony in a little white chapel in the country.

I come from a large family and I love it. I grew up in church (as the pastor's kid) and on a farm in rural Iowa. I made mud cookies on ice cream bucket lids and dressed up the farm cats in my dolls' dresses. I still live with a strong, grounded faith and love for Jesus, but I don't live on the farm anymore.

I started taking pictures when I lived in Uzbekistan. (It's in with the other -stans; it shares a small portion of its southern border with Afghanistan.) Since then, I've lived in Ohio and now back in Iowa, basing my photography business out of North Liberty, near the University of Iowa. I love shooting outdoors with natural light and I love capturing people in love.
